Finished size – 36” x 50”

Fabrics:
Fabric 1 – 12” x 42” strip (about 1/2 yard)
Fabric 2 – 8 1/2” x 42” strip (about 1/3 yard)
Fabric 3 – 6 3/4” x 42” strip (about 1/4 yard)
Fabric 4 – 4” x 42” strip (about 1/4 yard)
Fabric 5 – 5” x 42” strip (about 1/4 yard)
Fabric 6 – 12” x 42” strip (about 1/2 yard)
Fabric 7 – 12” x 42” strip (about 1/2 yard)

Backing - 1 2/3 yard
Binding – (need 5 - 3 1/2 “ wide strips) 1/2 yard


Notes: for a baby quilt, leave bottom fabric off, and cut wide strips. The more strips are cut the narrower the quilt is. Perhaps even leave two fabrics off and then add a border.

Fabrics for Crib size:
Need 3 coordinating fabrics
Fabric A: 1/4 yard (3- 21/2” strips)
Fabric B: 1/4 yard (3- 21/2” strips)
Fabric C: 3/8 yard (2- 41/2” strips)

Inner Border – 3/8 yard (4- 21/2” strips)
Outer Border – 7/8 yard (4- 51/2” strips)
Binding – 3/8 yard (4- 21/2” strips)
Backing = 11/4 yard

** Fat quarters can be enough, with extra work. Good use for leftover fabric.
