Scrap Quilt

I had a bunch of leftover scraps from a large quilt, and thought I would try and copy another quilt I saw. Just sewing together all the scraps into long stripes, and adding some sashing between them.

Friendship Star

Another baby quilt from left overs.

Free-motion quilted. I didn't like how that turned out. Should straight line quilt on the diaginal, next time.
It is easy to cut enough for more than one quilt.

Scrappy Nine Patch

I thought I would use some of my leftover Red and Gold fabric for a nine patch quilt. I did have to buy more fabrics at Jo Ann Crafts, but that almost always happens with scrap quilts.

Didn't turn out quilt as nice as I was thinking... but that is also the way quilting goes!
